Alia Bhatt Looks Totally Unrecognizable In Udta Punjab

We are used to seeing Alia Bhatt as the cute looking, bubbly, happy-go-lucky and yet gorgeous looking actress in Bollywood in real as well reel life. Ever since she played the role of Shanaya in Student of the Year, Alia Bhatt has set some serious fashion trends for all the girls out there. But with her looks in her upcoming movie Udta Punjab, Alia has definitely shocked everyone.

In Udta Punjab’s poster itself, she is seen with wounds and her masoori colour Kurti is covered up in dirt and it seems she is running from someone or something. Her role in the movie is of a Bihari girl whose only passion in life is hockey and is extremely enthusiastic about it and apparently doesn’t care about her fashion sense at all. It seems by far one of the most challenging roles played by her as she also speaks in a Bihari accent along with her surprising looks in the trailers of the movie.

Although one might think that Alia Bhatt has previously also played a role with similar looks in Highway but her looks in Udta Punjab are poles apart from the one in Highway. Even after wearing lots of qwerky attires in Highway she still managed to look pretty in the entire movie which is not the case with her looks in Udta Punjab.

In the song Ikk Kudi of Udta Punjab she is seen wearing an extremely loose yellow top with a long below knee length orange skirt which does not go well together at all. In the name of accessories all that she has worn with this attire are small tingling black earrings and a gold nose ring. Her hair is tied up in a greasy and messy bun with absolutely no eye make-up or lipstick. The only make-up done on her face is done with the purpose of making her look like a normal village girl who doesn’t care how she looks or dresses as it doesn’t matter to her at all and her interests in life are more than just looking trendy and fashionable.
